Eric Christopher M.D., Medical Director of Psychiatric Clinical Services at Duke, is looking to supplement his disaster mental health experience with the American Red Cross (with whom he worked in efforts at 9/11/2001 and Hurricane Katrina) by training with the North Carolina State Medical Assistance Team in hopes of being deployed to Haiti to work with victims of the recent devastating earthquake. He also looks forward to making a presentation to the North Carolina Psychiatric Association later this month, along with Andrew Muzyk, Pharm.D., providing an Update in the Treatment of Anxiety Disorders.
